Pongkham Residence - Luang Prabang

The room was in good condition, my bed was comfy, and the location in a nice quiet area with a nearby night market and market was peaceful and great for gbp 27.

nothing too much trouble, do recommend it to others. the venue is ideal, clean and the location is particularly good near pongkham residence and the city centre. the room is modern and brand-new. they have an electric kettle, climate control, and a work desk. the staff is responsible, as well as owner.

The rooms are stunning and come with a balcony, plus there's plenty of delicious breakfast options available.

Exceptionally comfortable hotel located in the heart of Luang Prabang. The double room offers comfortable beds and a beautiful garden terrace. Delicious food served for both dinner and breakfast. Peaceful and marvellous location near popular tourist spots, the town center, and city center.

The hotel is in a great location, close to a quiet area, the city center, and Luang Prabang. My room was beautiful and bright, with a lovely view of the garden and a nice balcony. The service at the hotel was good in my opinion.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. the value for money was excellent. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly and provided great service, ensuring that all my needs were met. The basic amenities were all in good condition, and my room had two twin beds, a nice balcony with a view towards the mountains, and a private bathroom. Finally, the breakfast provided was delicious, with fresh baguettes that were the perfect way to start the day.

If you want to escape the hordes of tourists in the city center, this lovely family-owned guesthouse is a perfect choice. Situated in a calm area, it offers free bikes to quickly get to the night market and great local food restaurants nearby. the clean, comfortable rooms with balconies and friendly hosts make you feel at home. Breakfast is included and provides a good start to the day. You can also rent motorbikes, take a bus or train with the help of staff. Some rooms even offer stunning views of the surrounding neighbourhood.

The bathroom facilities are a bit wet after a shower due to the lack of a shower cabin.

The prices are reasonable and affordable, especially considering all the amenities provided. The attention to detail is remarkable, with rooms that feature a nice balcony offering gorgeous views of the mountains in the distance. The private bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast served with fresh baguette is a delightful way to start the day.

All was more than okay during my stay. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We had the most very nice stay at Pongkham Residence! The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern, with comfortable beds and a large private bathroom. Each room also had a lovely patio or balcony to enjoy. The owners, Mr Wan and his wife, were really good hosts were really good to make our stay nice. They provided us with valuable advice on the best places to visit in the area, we didn't miss out on any of the highlights. We highly recommend taking their recommendation for a private Tuk Tuk tour to the waterfall, butterfly farm, and buffalo farm - it was a fantastic and affordable experience. The complimentary mountain bikes were a great way to explore the town, and we also discovered the very nice Saffron coffee shop thanks to Mr Wan's suggestion. The owners' English was excellent, and they were always there to assist us with anything we needed. The breakfast served each morning was fresh and delicious, with warm French bread, a choice of eggs, fruit, and unlimited tea and coffee. we had an amazing experience and would definitely stay at Pongkham Residence again. Highly recommended!

During Easter, we stayed in a hotel which had a nice decoration for the occasion. the breakfast was delicious and included a variety of options to choose from. The location was convenient as it was close to several shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

We had some issues with the rooms. They lacked proper ventilation and had a musty smell that persisted throughout our stay.
